Terms of use

1. Who we are

Shift Rivals is developed and published by RRB Labs LTDA, CNPJ 69.385.826/0001-12, based at Av. Marquês de São Vicente, 405, Conj. 1804, Várzea da Barra Funda, São Paulo – SP, 01139-001, Brasil ("RRB Labs", "we"). Contact: support@shiftrivals.com.

2. A game in development

Shift Rivals is still in development. Features, content, balance and rules may change, be fixed or be removed. Test versions may have bugs and, when needed for the game to work, progress in those versions may be adjusted or reset. Online services may be unavailable for maintenance or because of failures.

3. Age and guardians

Players under 18 may only use the game with the consent of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the use of the account and for any purchases.

4. Your account

• Online play uses a free account. Your progress, credits, cars and parts are kept on the game server.
• Keep your account access code and recovery code secret. We will never ask for them by email or social media.
• You are responsible for what happens in your account. Do not sell, lend or transfer it to anyone.
• You can close your account at any time and ask for your data to be deleted, as explained in the privacy policy.

5. Licence

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the game for entertainment, not for commercial purposes. The game is licensed, not sold: you do not acquire ownership of the software or of any of its content.

6. Credits and virtual items

Credits, parts, cars, rival points and other in-game items are virtual. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be sold or transferred outside the game. We may adjust credit prices, rewards and part performance to keep the game balanced.

7. Purchases

The game is free. When purchases exist, they will be cosmetic only and processed by your device’s store (Google Play or the App Store), which shows the price before you confirm. Refunds follow the store’s policy, without prejudice to your rights under consumer law. Nothing for sale changes how a car performs.

8. Conduct rules

To keep races fair, you must not:

• use cheats, bots, macros, modified clients or any program that gives an unfair advantage;
• exploit bugs instead of reporting them to support;
• tamper with data, saves, network traffic or the game servers, or try to access other people’s accounts;
• harass, threaten or deceive other players, including by pretending to be staff;
• buy, sell or advertise accounts, credits or items outside the game.

9. Suspension and termination

If you break these terms, we may warn you, suspend or close the account and remove results, prizes or items obtained unfairly, depending on how serious it is. If you have questions about a measure, write to support.

10. Intellectual property

The game, the Shift Rivals brand, the code, art, sounds, music and texts belong to RRB Labs or its licensors and are protected by law. The cars and makes in the game are fictional: Shift Rivals is not licensed, sponsored by or affiliated with any car manufacturer.

Paint jobs, decals, setups and names you create with the game’s tools may be shown to other players inside the game; you allow us to do so while that content is in the game.

11. Races are fiction

Races in Shift Rivals are fictional events. Do not reproduce on the road what happens in the game: street racing on public roads is dangerous and illegal.

12. Liability

We do our best for the game to work well, but it is provided as is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages. Nothing in these terms limits rights the law grants to consumers.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Important changes will be announced in the game or on this site before they apply. The date of the last update appears at the bottom of this page.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by Brazilian law. For consumers in Brazil, the courts of the consumer’s place of residence have jurisdiction.
